Andréana is a poet, educator, justice worker, and community grower. She's the author of Circle the Bones with Shining.
She partners with international organizations, shedding light on human rights, faith, and women's lives, including The Guardian, #Not a Crime, IFES, and Rotary International.
She also collaborates with artists and writers at the grassroots, serving people who have experienced incarceration, abuse, homelessness, and sex trafficking.
Her writing has been recognized by the Elise Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, The Atlantic, the UN Society of Writers, American University, and the London School of Economics. Her essays and poetry have appeared in Sojourners; On Being; Braided Way; About Place Journal; Rising Phoenix Review; the Hunter Museum of Art, and more.
